Welcome to Star Trek New Voyages / Phase II - Germany

Blood and Fire, Latest Episode

In the mid 1960s, one science-fiction series became popular to millions of people around the world: Star Trek. What started as a simple television series went on to develop into a massive franchise of 726 TV episodes, 10 movies, many novels, dozens of computer games and other products. However, The Original Series (TOS) was only made for 3 seasons before the show was axed back in 1969.

James Cawley and Jack Marschall formed a team of fans whose aim it was to create the missing two years of the original five year mission under James T. Kirk. The Star Trek New Voyages team, who have now renamed themselves to Star Trek Phase II after the series that was nearly made before the first movie, are creating a new set of original series episodes to continue where Kirk and his crew had left off when their series was stopped. They are even numbering their episodes as the forth season and have so far managed to produce four new episodes with the fifth episode (Blood and Fire) due for release in summer 2008.

The series is being put together as a fan film project under the direction of James Cawley, who plays James T. Kirk in the new voyages incarnation.

The quality of their work is so high, that several of the original actors and crew have decided to join in and help them create their episodes. This includes Walter Koenig (Chekov) and George Takei (Sulu) who were able to resume their original roles in this new series.

The special effects are being created by one of the special effects experts that worked on the recently canceled "Enterprise" series and now works on the new "Battlestar Galactica" who calls himself "Max Rem" on this production. His real name is Doug Drexler.
