Plot:

Pursued and damaged by repeated Klingon attacks, the crew of the Enterprise must respond to the distress call from a Federation research ship. In a matter of hours the ship and crew will be consumed by a nearby star and the crew of the Enterprise will be consumed by an mysterious horror that threatens both ships as the Klingons watch and wait.

This Star Trek Phase II episode was originally released in 6 parts using the latest Quicktime MP4 format encoded in H.264. You can now download the original .MP4 source files here.


Download Instructions Revision 4x05a Edition

Two of the MP4 files have been updated (Acts 0+1) to correct technical issues. We have now released the episode in DivX in both NTSC and PAL formats. The DivX files available before 24th Nov 16:30 CET had a quality problem and have now been replaced. The old versions had the sizes 225MB (NTSC) and 204MB (PAL). The new versions also list a release date of the 24th in the text file.

German subtitles are now available for download.

During initial release, our file server (on trekcon.de) crashed several times due to the large number of simultaneous downloads. We have therefore outsourced the MP4 files to uploading.com to reduce the load. The DivX versions will however remain on our own server. If they cannot be downloaded, simply try again later or use the alternative mirror. We are constantly monitoring our own server and will restore it if it goes offline again.

Acts 3, 4 and the epilogue have temporary soundtracks as the final soundtracks were not ready on time. The final version will be released in 2010 (will be announced on our RSS feed).
