We are all looking forward to the latest Star Trek Movie from Paramount, especially as there are a number of parallels with our New Voyages/Phase II fan films:

• Star Trek XI takes place in the TOS era, as does New Voyages / Phase II
  

• Star Trek XI stars a member of the original crew: Leonard Nimoy as Spock
  

• Majel Barrett Rodenberry is the computer voice in both productions (WEaT)
  

• James Cawley (our Kirk) stars in the movie (although in another role)
  

• Jeffery Quinn (our Spock in New Voyages) stars as a Vulcan (yet not Spock)
  

• Brandon Stacy (Klingon Guard #1) is our Spock starting with Enemy Starfleet
